GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation
GDPR will apply to all EU Member states from 25th May 2018 and this will effect how all schools manage personal data and how it is protected and shared.
The EU's General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) has been devised to bring data protection legislation up to date with how personal data is now used.
Previously the UK relied on the Data Protection Act 1998, but as of 25th May 2018, will be superseded by the new legislation, which will introduce tougher fines for non-compliance and gives people more say over what companies can do with their data. It also makes data protection rules similar across the EU.
The Privacy Notice opposite sets out when and how we use your Personal Information that you or others provide us.
