Charley is the Trust Finance Manager, overseeing finance for all eleven schools within West Norfolk Academies Trust.

Charley attended Springwood High School & Sixth Form between 2005 – 2012 before returning to Springwood as an employee in 2014 in the admin office. This is where Charley became interested in finance and was given the opportunity to start learning the AAT accounting qualifications, whilst working full time in finance with the support of the Trust and the finance team around her.

Charley said that working within the Trust is very diverse, and every day is different and that she is lucky to work with a great group of people who always offer each other support.

Charley’s one piece of advice to anybody joining the Trust would be to “embrace every opportunity and don’t be afraid of change”.

Charley’s biggest achievements are her qualifications, she studied for many years doing Level 2, 3 and 4 AAT and now has a professional diploma in Accounting and still wanting to learn more & eventually taking her CIMA qualification. (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
